From the Portrait Archives: Our India Eisley interview
We chatted with the Secret Life star (now starring in the film ‘Kite’) about the show and her ambitions for the future.
What would be your advice to those wanting to break into the acting business?
Really, it’s all about the work. I think a lot of it is up to luck but you just have to be completely dedicated and passionate for what you do. Even if you audition and audition, you haven’t gotten it yet, it’s a horrible feeling to be rejected but that’s just part of it so I think getting used to the feel of rejection in beneficial. But even if you do get rejected over and over again, you just have to keep at it because you never know when something is just going to pop for you.
